Aura Wine
where energy meets taste.
Re-energizing the way you enjoy wine.
The ability to taste colors is caused by synesthesia, which happens when any two of our senses cross over. One synesthete might experience a bitter taste when they see the color purple, while another could smell roses when they hear a certain music note. While developing these wine auras, we took a survey of 150 wine lovers and asked them to associate flavors with colors. Common responses for green and yellow were “sour,” while pink and reds were “sweet.” Through consolidating these results, we created “flavor profiles” of emotions like satisfaction and sensuality. We drew inspiration from the most popular associations with primary colors to put together three auras of wine that you see in our best- selling trio: Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, and Roscato.
